Evan's Remains is a mystery-thriller puzzle adventure about finding a missing boy: Evan. The game combines logic-based platform puzzles with narrative inspired by Japanese graphic adventure games. Gameplay: Every time the player solves from two to three puzzles, the story goes forward and new mechanics are introduced. The challenge of the puzzles lies in the player’s ability to figure out what do rather than solve challenges based on skill. As the difficulty curve increases, the puzzles become more complex by combining two or more previously introduced mechanics. Story: Evan, the genius boy, has been missing for years. One day, a letter signed by him is received, claiming he’s on an uninhabited island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Nobody knows why, but he asked specifically for a girl named “Dysis” to go and look for him. The player will take control of this girl, who we don’t know much about. As we follow Dysis’s adventure, questions will start to be answered little by little. All of the little puzzle pieces which seemed unrelated in the beginning will now begin to slowly fit together as the truth is slowly revealed.
Teacup is a short and wholesome narrative adventure game with a focus on exploration and non-linear progression. You are free to tackle the list of ingredients Teacup must gather in any order you wish. Find your own path through the world of Little Pond. During your adventure you will meet the charming inhabitants of the forest. Some are talkative, some are grumpy, but all of them will lend you an ear on your adventure. Most of the animals you meet will be glad to help Teacup… in exchange for a small favor or some help. Organize a (oddly shaped) market stall, win an underwater race and more!

Explore a shifting dungeon in first person, forage strange plants, and battle bizarre food-beasts in tactical card combat. Land exact finishing blows to harvest valuable monster parts; overkill ruins the meat. At campfires, pair harvested parts with plants to cook limited-serving Dish Cards. Add them to your deck, manage Hunger, and build each run around Precise Cuts, Leftovers, Rot, Broth, Braise, relics, and distinct playable chefs. This free, work-in-progress browser demo currently ends after the Pantry Depths. Balance, content, writing, and presentation are still being refined.

Then, hit the competition route. Prizes include trophies for a single event and a top prize in overall competition. So get air. Go crazy. Welcome to a new state of intensity!

Neverball is a 3D ball-rolling game in the lineage of Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball. You guide a ball through obstacle courses by tilting the ground beneath it using your mouse, keyboard, or joystick. The ball has real physics and real momentum, which means every slight tilt matters, every overcorrection sends you careening toward an edge, and every narrow bridge becomes a test of nerve. The floor moves. The ball reacts. You try not to fall into the void. Each level has a simple goal: collect enough coins to activate the exit pad, then reach it before time runs out. Yellow coins are worth 1, red coins 5, blue coins 10. Collect 100 total and you earn an extra life. The levels start gentle enough, teaching you how the tilt-and-roll relationship works. Then they introduce moving platforms. Then mazes. Then pushers that shove your ball sideways. Then narrow ramps over bottomless drops with moving obstacles and a 30-second timer. The difficulty curve goes from "pleasant Sunday puzzle" to "controller-gripping precision platformer" across 183 levels. Three highscore categories per level reward different playstyles: most coins collected, fastest time to unlock the goal, and fastest time to complete the level. Speedrunning and coin-optimization runs require completely different approaches to the same course, which gives every level at least two reasons to replay it.

2048 is a free, open-source puzzle game created in 2014 by a 19-year-old Italian web developer named Gabriele Cirulli, who built it over a single weekend and published it on GitHub under the MIT License. It went on to consume roughly four million human lives in its first week. Not because it's complicated — it's the opposite of complicated — but because your brain will not let you stop. Here's the deal. You've got a 4×4 grid. Two tiles are sitting on it, each showing the number 2. You swipe in a direction — up, down, left, right — and every tile on the board slides that way until it hits a wall or another tile. If two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile worth their sum. Two 2s become a 4. Two 4s become an 8. Two 8s become a 16. After every swipe, a new tile (usually a 2, occasionally a 4) pops up in a random empty space. Your goal is to keep combining tiles until you forge the mythical 2048 tile. The problem is that every move spawns a new tile, the grid is only 16 squares, and the moment you can't move — because every space is full and no neighbors match — you're dead. It's basically a territory war between you and entropy, and entropy is very patient. The strategy is deceptively deep for something with four inputs. Experienced players will tell you to pick a corner, keep your biggest tile parked there, and build a descending cascade along one edge — sort of like organizing a shelf where the heaviest books go on one end. The moment you let a big tile drift into the middle, your board starts to choke. You'll develop opinions about this. You'll start swiping left in your sleep. This is normal. It's free, it's open-source, it runs in any browser, and a round takes about ten minutes — or four hours, depending on how many times you whisper "one more try" to yourself. You should play it right now. You should also clear your afternoon.

You work nights at an afterlife telephone exchange. The living ring in wanting to speak to someone who died. They never say the name. They say "my late mother, the one I miss most at Christmas," and then they wait. Ten case files sit on your desk. Four of those ghosts are on the line tonight. One of them liked snowmen and family gatherings. Work out which caller wants which ghost, then get up out of your chair and carry the plug across the floor to their socket yourself. The lines can't cross on the floor. Anchor posts lift one over another. The wiring is old, and if you hold too many live lines at once the breaker goes and you're patching in the dark until you find the frequency again. Eight nights. Three strikes each. Nobody is in a hurry - the callers have all the time there is.

A Dark Room is a text-based RPG released in 2013 by Canadian indie studio Doublespeak Games. You start in a cold shack. There's a fireplace. There's a button that says "stoke the fire." You click it. Your wood counter ticks down. A short cooldown passes. You click it again. And then, the world expands. Every time you think you've found the edges, A Dark Room reveals that what you've been playing is actually nested inside something bigger and stranger than you expected. We won't spoil where it ends up, but the distance between "click to stoke the fire" and the final reveal is vast.

Get points by gathering gems during your quest, and ascend stairs by jumping, but watch out for the spikes and other hazards which will burst you! For some levels you will need to obtain special items to proceed such as candles for dark rooms, but don’t forget you are always up against the clock as you are slowing deflating, so also keep a look out for the random pumps to inflate you and buy you more time but without over pressurising and bursting yourself! Will you find the ingredients and use the spell book to lift the curse and save yourself before time runs out! Good luck Airball! Originally released in 1987 across multiple formats including MS-DOS, Amiga, Atari and others. This version is the MS-DOS version.

A miner stands at the top of the screen with a claw swinging beneath him on a pendulum. Below are gold nuggets, diamonds, and the occasional rock you'd rather avoid. Time the drop right and the claw hauls up treasure. Time it wrong and you're reeling in a boulder while the clock ticks down. Each level sets a target. Hit it and you move deeper, where the gold is bigger and the rocks are in the way. Between stages, a shop sells dynamite for the mistakes, stronger rope for the next haul, and lucky clovers for the gamblers. It's a game about timing, patience, and knowing when to leave something in the ground.
